Job Overview

Mobilink Microfinance Bank Limited (MMBL) is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional for the position of Associate Digital Payments – DFS in its Branchless Banking Department. The successful candidate will support digital financial services, agent liquidity management, transaction processing, financial reconciliations, and payment operations to ensure smooth and timely delivery of JazzCash services.

This role is suitable for candidates with a background in commerce, business administration, or finance who have an understanding of financial transactions, accounting entries, and banking operations.

Key Responsibilities

Manage agent liquidity operations, including fund inflows and outflows, bulk disbursements, commissions, and reimbursements.
Coordinate JazzCash fund replenishment for MMBL branches and PMCL Contact Centre operations.
Ensure the availability of funds for agent payments, cash disbursements, and debit authorities within the required turnaround time.
Monitor intraday liquidity requirements and real-time cash positions with correspondent banks.
Process financial transactions and accounting entries across relevant General Ledger (GL) heads.
Maintain accurate Management Information System (MIS) reports and transaction records for periodic management reporting.
Monitor and report daily fund balances to Finance and Treasury departments.
Reconcile and balance CPS and T-24 settlement accounts on a daily basis.
Manage franchise credit postings, maturity-based recoveries, settlements, commissions, and refundable tax disbursements.
Process transaction reversals, recoveries, and pending payments to resolve customer complaints promptly.
Coordinate with MMBL branches, Finance, DFS teams, and correspondent bank representatives.
Support fund replenishment for services such as Nano Loans and B2B transactions.
Ensure compliance with internal policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), controls, and applicable State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) regulations.
Maintain proper financial documentation and records for audit purposes.
Provide operational support to internal and external stakeholders to ensure uninterrupted digital financial services.
Identify service issues, investigate operational discrepancies, and facilitate timely resolution.
Perform additional duties assigned by the line manager and maintain a high standard of professionalism and productivity.

Experience Requirements

Minimum 1–2 years of relevant professional experience.
Familiarity with financial transactions, accounting entries, payment processing, and banking operations is desirable.

Required Skills

Understanding of financial accounting and balance sheet entries.
Knowledge of deposits, credits, receivables, payables, taxes, and Federal Excise Duty (FED).
Strong reconciliation, reporting, and analytical skills.
Familiarity with financial controls, documentation, and compliance procedures.
Effective communication and coordination skills.
Ability to manage multiple transactions accurately and meet deadlines.
A proactive, customer-focused, and team-oriented approach.
