Job Summary

Mobilink Microfinance Bank Limited (MMBL) is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Relationship Officer Asset to join its Business Banking team at the DHA Branch in Karachi. The selected candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling asset financing products, developing strong customer relationships, identifying business opportunities, and achieving assigned sales targets.

The role involves assessing customer credit profiles, conducting field visits and verification, monitoring loan repayments, and ensuring compliance with the bank’s policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate should possess strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills, along with a commitment to ethical banking practices and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Implement approved sales and service plans to achieve business growth and assigned targets.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
Promote and sell the bank’s loan and asset financing products in accordance with established procedures.
Identify new business opportunities, potential customers, and untapped markets.
Achieve assigned sales objectives through genuine, ethical, and policy-compliant lending practices.
Evaluate customer profiles and creditworthiness using the Five Cs of Credit.
Clearly communicate product features, terms, conditions, and repayment requirements to customers.
Conduct physical verification of prospective borrowers and assess their business and financial circumstances.
Ensure timely loan repayments through regular follow-ups, customer communication, and proactive collection efforts.
Follow the bank’s collection procedures and avoid unauthorized handling of customer funds.
Safeguard customer information and legal documents against misuse or unauthorized access.
Prepare weekly field activity plans in coordination with the line manager and report any deviations.
Conduct periodic customer meetings as required under the relevant product programs.
Process loan applications and bookings in accordance with the bank’s policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
Conduct market research and assess existing and potential business areas to identify growth opportunities.
Maintain high service standards and address customer concerns in accordance with the bank’s fair treatment policies.
Gather customer feedback and recommend improvements to products and services.
Report suspected fraud, irregularities, or potential financial losses to the relevant supervisor.
Ensure compliance with internal controls, bank policies, and applicable State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) regulations.

Eligibility Criteria

Education

Bachelor’s degree from a reputable institution.
MBA will be preferred.

Experience

Candidates with 0–1 year of relevant experience are preferred.

Persuasion, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to identify business opportunities and develop customer networks.
Basic understanding of credit assessment and loan products.
