Job Overview

Mobilink Microfinance Bank Limited (MMBL) is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Relationship Officer – Deposit to join its Business Banking team at the Bhalwal Branch. The selected candidate will be responsible for acquiring new customers, mobilizing deposits, managing client relationships, and achieving deposit growth targets while delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Acquire new customers and build a strong deposit portfolio to support business growth.
Develop and manage customer portfolios for Current Account, Savings Account, and Term Deposit products.
Achieve weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual deposit mobilization targets.
Build and maintain relationships with individual and potential business clients.
Recruit and coordinate freelancers and brand ambassadors to support retail deposit marketing.
Maintain the targeted balance between CASA and Term Deposit portfolios.
Promote account opening and new-to-bank (NTB) customer acquisition.
Identify opportunities to cross-sell and upsell banking products and services.
Understand customer needs and coordinate with Relationship Managers and Branch Managers to provide suitable solutions.
Monitor competitors' activities and identify opportunities to retain existing customers.
Resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally.
Ensure compliance with bank policies, procedures, and business strategies.
Coordinate with internal branch teams to achieve assigned business objectives.
Perform additional duties assigned by the Line Manager.

Eligibility Criteria

Education:

Bachelor's degree from a reputable institution in Business Administration, Commerce, Accounting, Marketing, Economics, Finance, or an equivalent discipline.

Experience:

Preferably at least 1 year of relevant experience in sales, management, or operations within retail banking, consumer banking, or another industry.

Required Skills and Knowledge:

Understanding of deposit banking products and their operations.
Knowledge of CASA (Current Account and Savings Account) fundamentals and deposit growth strategies.
Strong customer relationship management and communication skills.
Ability to meet sales targets and develop new business opportunities.
Customer-focused approach with good problem-solving skills.
