Job Description

The Assistant Manager – Supply Chain will oversee supply chain personnel and ensure effective communication and coordination of requisition-related correspondence within the organization and with external vendors and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with supply chain policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), procurement procedures, financial controls, and audit requirements.
Supervise daily supply chain operations, including procurement, inventory management, warehousing, and distribution.
Monitor purchase requisitions, purchase orders, delivery schedules, and supplier performance to ensure timely fulfillment of departmental requirements.
Maintain strong vendor relationships and support cost optimization initiatives.
Ensure accurate procurement documentation, inventory records, and operational reporting.
Supervise supply chain staff, identify operational risks, and implement process improvements.
Enhance operational efficiency and ensure continuity of supply chain operations.
