The Bank is seeking talented, dedicated, and experienced professionals for its Digital Banking department.

Position Overview

NBP is inviting applications from qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Digital Banking Officer – Strategy Design (OG-II / OG-I) based in Karachi.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Educational Qualification

Minimum Graduation in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent discipline from an HEC-recognized local or international university, college, or institute.
Candidates with a Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, or Information Technology will be preferred.
Professional certifications in Data Strategy or Data Science will also be an advantage.

2. Professional Experience

Minimum 2 years of experience in banking, financial institutions, telecommunications, capital markets, fintech, or software houses.
At least 1 year of experience in Digital Banking Strategy Design, strategy development, business planning, or a related field.
Experience in supporting or developing strategic frameworks, data-driven decision-making, business analysis, and digital transformation initiatives will be preferred.

Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
Ability to align data initiatives with business objectives and support digital transformation.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Proactive learning and continuous improvement mindset.
Ability to translate technical concepts into practical business solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in implementing data strategies aligned with the Bank’s business objectives and digital transformation goals.
Collaborate with business, IT, and analytics teams to design and deliver scalable data solutions.
Support the development of enterprise capability roadmaps and target operating models for strategic priorities.
Assist in preparing business cases and investment proposals for strategic initiatives.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of data initiatives.
Support the adoption of emerging data technologies to promote data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Contribute to building a data-driven culture through workshops, committees, and cross-functional initiatives.
Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor(s).

Selection Process

Only shortlisted candidates who strictly meet the prescribed eligibility criteria will be invited to participate in the assessment test and/or panel interview.

Employment Terms and Benefits

Contract Duration: 3 years, renewable at the discretion of management.
Compensation: Salary package and other benefits according to NBP policies and rules.
Travel Allowance: No TA/DA will be admissible for the test or interview.
