Job Description

Bank of Khyber (BOK) is inviting applications from experienced banking professionals for the position of Area Manager in Mardan. The selected candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, managing branch performance, developing customer relationships, and ensuring profitability across the assigned area.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Development

  • Lead sales, business development, and profitability initiatives across the assigned area.

  • Achieve deposit, asset, and cross-selling targets in line with the bank's strategic objectives.

  • Ensure achievement of budgeted financial targets, revenue, and profitability.

2. Team Leadership & Performance Management

  • Develop and manage sales teams, including Business Development Officers (BDOs), Relationship Managers (RMs), and Branch Managers (BMs).

  • Allocate, monitor, and evaluate business targets.

  • Build a high-performance sales culture and motivate staff to achieve business objectives.

3. Customer Relationship & Service Excellence

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with high-net-worth individuals and key corporate clients.

  • Ensure excellent customer service across all branches within the assigned area.

  • Handle escalated customer complaints and ensure timely resolution.

4. Reporting, MIS & Data Analytics

  • Maintain accurate recruitment databases and talent pools.

  • Prepare regular MIS reports covering hiring status, turnaround time (TAT), cost-per-hire, and recruitment source effectiveness.

  • Develop hiring dashboards and analytics to support management reviews and decision-making.

Eligibility Criteria

Education:

  • Minimum Graduation is required.

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Banking, or another relevant field from an HEC-recognized university or reputable foreign university will be preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum 15 years of overall Commercial Banking experience.

  • At least 5 years of experience as an Area Manager or in a higher position within a Commercial Bank.

  • Islamic Banking experience will be an added advantage.

Salary & Benefits

  • Market-based remuneration.

  • Senior management position (VP to SVP grade).
