Job Description

State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) is seeking talented and energetic professionals for the position of Network Operation Center (NOC) Engineer in its Information Technology Operations Department.

The selected candidate will be responsible for monitoring IT infrastructure, maintaining network operations, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring smooth functioning of network and data center facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Monitor IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage systems, and UPS systems.

  2. Provide first-level technical support for IT infrastructure.

  3. Manage and administer SolarWinds IT Management and Monitoring System.

  4. Perform network troubleshooting and VPN support.

  5. Coordinate with the Security Operations Center (SOC) team to block IP addresses and security threats.

  6. Handle routing and switching-related activities.

  7. Provide first-level support for wired and wireless networks.

  8. Monitor network communication links and coordinate with service providers to resolve issues.

  9. Perform rotational shifts for 24/7 data center operations.

  10. Generate IT infrastructure monitoring reports for management review.
