Deputy Manager Compliance

🎓 Education: BSc / MSc in Environmental Sciences
💼 Experience: Minimum 5–6 years in compliance, preferably in the textile sector

Nishat Chunian Limited is seeking a qualified and experienced Deputy Manager Compliance to oversee compliance procedures, maintain certifications, and ensure adherence to relevant industry regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor internal operations and documentation to ensure compliance with company policies and external regulations.

• Develop, implement, and maintain updated documentation, certifications, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

• Conduct internal audits related to Inditex, HIGG, Egyptian Cotton, GOTS, OCS, RCS, and GRS certifications.

• Identify non-compliance issues and develop effective corrective action plans.

• Conduct regular internal audits and risk assessments to identify potential compliance gaps.

• Organize training and awareness sessions for staff and workers on compliance, ethical sourcing, and sustainability.

• Coordinate with third-party auditors, certification bodies, and government authorities.

• Monitor changes in applicable laws, environmental regulations, and textile industry standards.

🎯 Eligibility Criteria

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Sciences.

• Minimum 5–6 years of relevant compliance experience, preferably in the textile industry.

• Familiarity with major textile sustainability and certification standards.

• Strong knowledge of local labour laws, Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) regulations, and compliance requirements.

• Excellent communication, documentation, auditing, and problem-solving skills.
