Team Leader KYC CDD – HBL Jobs 2026

Required Qualification: Master's Degree
Minimum Experience: 5–7 Years

HBL is seeking an experienced professional for the position of Team Leader KYC CDD in Pakistan. The selected candidate will support the management of the KYC CDD Unit, oversee customer due diligence processes, ensure regulatory compliance, maintain data integrity, and lead a team responsible for effective execution of KYC CDD activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in managing a sustainable and scalable KYC CDD Unit by monitoring team activities against assigned roles and responsibilities.

• Support the execution of activities within the country's KYC CDD Unit and maintain oversight of KYC CDD processes.

• Provide training, operational expertise, and guidance to client acquisition and onboarding teams regarding KYC CDD procedures in coordination with Compliance.

• Drive operational efficiency and ensure customer data integrity in accordance with internal policies and procedures.

• Conduct independent Quality Assurance of tests performed on the KYC CDD team's business-as-usual activities.

• Identify and escalate gaps with appropriate remedial action plans.

• Ensure timely follow-up and resolution of issues while coordinating with front-office and back-office stakeholders.

• Support periodic review processes through close coordination with relevant stakeholders.

• Assist in developing Unit SOPs, system enhancements, reporting improvements, and Business Requirement Documents (BRDs).

• Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and related process improvements.

KYC CDD Awareness & Training

• Work with the Learning & Development (L&D) team to provide operational feedback on KYC CDD training modules.

• Help strengthen the Bank's Compliance culture through effective training and awareness initiatives.

Leadership & Teamwork

• Lead and develop an effective team through communication, performance management, and development plans.

• Promote an inclusive working environment that supports diversity and reflects HBL's values.

Eligibility Criteria

Minimum Qualification:

- Master's Degree.

Minimum Experience:

- 5–7 years of experience in Banking Operations, Compliance, or Operational Risk Management.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Sound understanding of KYC/CDD regulations.

• Knowledge of KYC/CDD-related processes and policies.

• Strong operational oversight and team management capabilities.
