Social Care Officer

Meezan Bank is seeking a qualified and customer-focused professional for the position of Social Care Officer at its Head Office in Karachi. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing customer interactions across social media platforms, addressing queries and complaints, moderating online discussions, and ensuring a professional and positive customer experience.

Eligibility Criteria

Qualification

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field from an HEC-recognized university or institute.

  Advertisement

• A Master's degree is preferred.

• A qualification in Islamic Finance will be an added advantage.

Experience

• Minimum 2 to 3 years of relevant working experience.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in social media, community management, and moderation platforms.

• Excellent written communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.

• Strong judgment, complaint-handling, and escalation management abilities.

• Good analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to customer queries, complaints, and feedback across social media channels promptly and professionally.

• Monitor social media conversations and moderate comments and interactions in accordance with established community guidelines.

• Escalate complex, sensitive, or unresolved customer issues to the appropriate authorities or relevant departments.

• Maintain accurate records and provide insights into recurring issues and customer sentiment.

• Work rotational shifts, including weekends and public holidays, as required to ensure continuous social care coverage.
