As part of its growth strategy, BOP invites applications from experienced, dedicated, and performance-driven professionals for the position of Regional Audit Head in its Operational Audit Division under the Internal Audit Group.

Job Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Assisting the Head of Operational Audit in preparing the annual operational audit plan.

• Planning audit engagements and preparing sampling matrices using OBIEE reports.

• Allocating audit resources according to risk profiles and monitoring engagement performance, budgets, and approved working days.

• Coordinating with management and conducting audit conclusion meetings according to established procedures.

• Reviewing audit reports, rating models, management letters, and working papers to ensure quality and accuracy before issuance.

• Calculating audit ratings and submitting recommendations to the Head of Operational Audit for review.

• Ensuring proper documentation, archiving, and uploading of audit assignments into the Audit Management System.

• Reviewing audit team performance, ensuring timely reporting of findings, and providing ongoing coaching and guidance.

• Reviewing policies, procedures, and head-office instructions to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and applicable laws.

• Recommending updates to audit checklists and manuals in response to changes in controls, products, policies, and procedures.

• Preparing monthly and quarterly reports for management and highlighting significant audit findings and management action updates.

• Managing financial and manpower budgets and obtaining approvals for budgetary deviations according to the approved hierarchy.

Eligibility Criteria

Education and Qualification

Candidates must hold one of the following qualifications from an HEC-recognized local or foreign university or institute:

• Bachelor's degree

• MBA

• M.Com.

• MSc in Accounting or Finance

• CA

• ACCA

• CBA degree

Preferred Certifications: CIA, CICA, CISA, or equivalent professional certifications will be an advantage.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 9–12 years of professional experience.

• At least 3 years of experience working in the Internal Audit Group of a commercial bank.

Age Limit

Maximum 55 years as of the date of application.
